According to the horribly acted “Ten Commandments” Movie which started airing on ABC last night, Moses evidently either used, or thought about, an Atom bomb while parting the Red Sea.
I’m not sure what exactly the producers of this show were thinking… as Moses started to part the sea, there was a video collage of lava bursting under water, fish swimming away - this makes sense, and then the mushroom cloud… This would possibly be forgivable if the acting was up to par with even an average TV show, but it’s so bad that they’ve even managed to make Naveen Andrews (from Lost) look like a bad actor. It possibly has everything to do with their rewrite of the script being poor, but you’d think a director would step in at some point and say, “hey, do that again, and this time… act.”
But, no.
Oh well, I’m sure I’ll catch bits and pieces of the second half tonight at 9/8 Central on ABC. I just hope that they don’t have Moses using Chinook helicopters to swoop down, pick up the slaves, and bring them to safety.
I think I’ll wait for the original to air on April 15th.

Yeah..we’ll watch American Idol and Boston Legal tonight instead of that mess hun..The original is much much better :)
