I’m not even going to mention the lag between posts here, so back off ok? :)

This weekend is the 4th of almost every booked weekend this summer. After laundry, ironing and packing tonight; tomorrow morning I head up to Eau Claire with Mandi for my good friend JoDean’s wedding. Mandi will finally get to meet my Mom… probably for lunch on Saturday and then we’re going to her place on Sunday to hang out. Deann will also be there on Sunday which will be fun.

We won’t get back till late on Sunday, fall asleep, and then start another week. I actually think next weekend is free… except for that it’s Memorial Day, so I’m sure we’ll be doing something for that too. There won’t be too many free weekends to just lounge this summer.

Oh well, we have fun though.

What else? Let’s see… I need clothes and shoes. Not really, but I want ‘em. We’re trying to figure out one of my brother’s bachelor parties… planning on doing go-carts and batting cages. Should be a good time. LOST and Heroes finales this week… make sure you catch those if you’re cool. Last week Gilmore Girls had their series finale… it was good, but sad. What a great show. I hope Lauren Graham gets another TV job and doesn’t keep doing movies.

Web stuff… I recently got into this new Twitter-like service called Jaiku. Basically, for those who don’t know, you can tell the site what you’re doing at any time and then essentially keep track of what your friends are doing (as well as them keeping track of you). It’s basically another shift towards a completely crazy society. I’ve also been using IMified a lot too. This service allows you to interact with a bunch of other web service that I use (Remember the Milk, GCal, and more). Basically, I can see my to-do list, set reminders, view the WhoIs info for a web page, update Jaiku, and more… all from my Google Talk IM client - either on my Blackberry or on my computer… basically, all the time.

It’s pretty disgusting.
