Where’s My Ring?

A Lifesaver? No… a REAL ring.

As a guy, I really didn’t think I’d be into finding a ring for myself… especially since I’ve never worn one before. But this last week we scoured the internet and almost every jewelry store in town before i found “the one.”

Who would’ve thought I would be so picky? ;) Ok, anyone who knows me… but the fact is, the selection of mens wedding rings is AWFUL! Someone needs to do something about this. Most places we went to had a dozen to choose from, while the sections for women seemed never-ending.

My only other complaint is that guys should be able to get rings too. There’s no reason a girl should be able to walk around with a nice ring on and the guy is all plain until marriage. Either we’re equals or we’re not… make up your mind.

I wish I had a picture to share, but unfortunately it seems this ring must be one of a kind… no picture exists online as far as i can tell. And it won’t be 6-8 weeks before I get it myself!

P.S. We ordered an ring for me… it’s a titanium wide ring for my right hand that has Mandi’s name written in Kanji, as well as our first date and date on the inside. Very cool. Now, more waiting. Ugh.

  1. Too bad I didn’t know sooner… I have a very nice slightly used wedding ring that I’d sell you for a low low price. ;-)
