After what one can only describe as a 'magical' season, it seemed like some other people showed up wearing Wisconsin jerseys inside Ford Field tonight.
It couldn't have been the Wisconsin team that beat Texas, in Texas, without their point guard. It couldn't have been the Wisconsin team who were picked to finish 4th or 5th in the Big Ten - and then went on to set a record ...

Wisconsin basketball has had an unbelievable year so far. One of the greatest moments was Michael Flowers' 3-pointer and steal at the end of the Texas game to win. That play is up for the Pontiac play of the year... watch it and vote right here.

Three years ago, while looking at the prospective Badger Basketball rosters, this was the year where I knew things would change.
Whether it's more consistency, or just the fact that Alando Tucker takes over in every situation where it counts... there's something about this team that gives me shivers. One loss away from being perfect this year (14-1), the Badgers have a swagger about them when they walk ...

Three years ago, this was the basketball season I was looking forward to. Today, the Badgers lost to unranked Missouri State while playing in the South Padre Island Tournament. Is the curse of being on the Sports Illustrated cover?
Honestly, it's depressing. This is a team that could've gone undefeated into Big 10 season if their cards would've fallen right. Now, they'll play Auburn tomorrow ...

Madison, Wis. National Basketball Association Commissioner David Stern announced today that beginning with the 2006-2007 season, the University of Wisconsin will act as the official developmental team for the NBA.
It is a surprising move considering all of the recent money poured into the fledgling NBDL (National Basketball Developmental League).
However, Stern pointed to the success of Bo Ryan's players in the NBA as the main reason the ...

Last week Friday, I took a half day so I could watch the Badgers get kicked around by an average Indiana team in the Big Ten Tournament. This week, I took a couple hours off so I could go home and watch Arizona wipe the floor with them.
I thought, just maybe, that their piss-poor play over the previous 14 games might turn around for the NCAA tournament... ...

Up early on Saturday morning, Heather and I decided "tan" before we headed out on vacation. Sure, we weren't going to any sunny location, but I thought I'd give her a little bit of Los Angeles anyway... so we stopped at a Mystic Tan place in Janesville. There was definitely a glow, but I wasn't really all that impressed. I was tan in the face, ...

The future of the 2006 Badgers looks good - if you wait to look at them until next November. I just think the second half of the season is stacked too high against them.
With the mid-way mark of the current season coming up over the next 2 days, I thought I'd take a look at some of the top teams, and their possible Big Ten records at ...

Within a matter of weeks, the Badgers basketball team has lost redshirt-freshman DeAaron Williams, freshman star Marcus Landry, and sophomore big-man Greg Stiemsma - all due to academic reasons. Since the time that all three players have been out, the Badgers have gone 1-3 and are about to head into a match up with #7 Illinois on Tuesday.
Although it's 1:30AM right now and I'm working off a ...

"So I'm here to let you guys know up front that I'm ineligible. Most guys probably wouldn't get in front of the camera and tell everybody that, 'Hey, I'm ineligible.' But I'm looking forward to helping my team in any way that I can while I'm not playing."
I commend Marcus for standing up and telling the public that he's ineligible. It really had to be humiliating to ...
